# VenueMind preview terms

Effective 3 September 2026.

VenueMind is an open-source, pre-release venue-planning product. By using the hosted preview, you agree to use it only for lawful venue-planning and evaluation work, to submit only data you are authorized to process, and to keep account and share credentials secure.

## Human authority

VenueMind provides deterministic checks, simulations, proposals, and planning records. It is not a licensed architect, engineer, accessibility professional, fire authority, security service, emergency system, or legal adviser. A qualified human remains responsible for venue rules, local requirements, emergency decisions, and final approval. An agent cannot approve a Plan.

## Acceptable use

Do not use VenueMind to cross organization boundaries, bypass human approval or Locks, forge audit evidence, expose another person's data, attack the service, or create an unlawful or unsafe event. Reasonable security research must follow the published security policy.

## Your data and exports

You retain responsibility for Project content and for any export you download or share. You grant the service the limited permission needed to store, validate, process, and transmit that content to provide VenueMind. The privacy notice describes the actual storage, retention, export, and deletion behavior.

## Preview availability and warranty

The preview may change, be interrupted, or be withdrawn. It is provided as available, without a service-level commitment. The open-source software is also subject to its MIT License. To the extent permitted by applicable law, VenueMind contributors disclaim implied warranties and liability for losses arising from reliance on the preview, automated checks, simulations, or exports.

## Changes

Material changes will update the effective date and the public changelog. Continuing to use the hosted preview after a change means accepting the revised terms. If you do not agree, stop using the preview and export or delete your data first.
